Pedro holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Psychoanalysis from Universidad del Norte (Uninorte), Barranquilla, Colombia (2020), and has practiced psychoanalytically oriented therapy since 2018. He is a Washington State Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Clinical Supervisor, with experience in community mental health and work with diverse populations. Pedro currently serves as Program Director for the New Journeys Program (First Episode of Psychosis) in Snohomish County. Pedro believes healing emerges through speaking freely, recognizing repetitive patterns, and actively engaging in trauma exploration within a safe and collaborative therapeutic relationship. Guided by the belief that one cannot take someone through the woods without knowing a way out, Pedro has been in his own ongoing psychoanalytic process since 2013, supporting ethical, reflective, and grounded clinical work.
