Mental health problems affect everyone - at some point in their life all of us will have or have had mental health issues. Everyone has difficult times in life and needs support and encouragement. In our sessions you will always have a safe, nonjudgmental space where you are validated and supported. Life is trial and error and we are all on a journey of growth in life, always learning and evolving. Has previous talk therapy not given you the results you need for growth? While talk therapy is beneficial, research points to it being most effective when combined with evidence-based interventions I utilize such as: cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, psychoeducation, flash technique, ACT, DBT and emotional freedom technique. I'm also trained in brainspotting which locates points in a client’s visual field that help to access unprocessed trauma in the subcortical brain and utilizes somatic processing.
