Introduction

Mental health problems affect everyone - at some point in their life all of us will have or have had mental health issues. Everyone has difficult times in life and needs support and encouragement. It's hard to take that first step sometimes but reaching out can lead to more purpose and joy in your life. In our sessions you will always have a safe, nonjudgmental space where you are validated and supported. Life is trial and error and we are all on a journey of growth in life, always learning and evolving. Has previous talk therapy not given you the results you need for growth? While talk therapy is beneficial, research points to it being most effective when combined with evidence-based interventions I utilize such as: cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, psychoeducation, flash technique, bilateral stimulation and emotional freedom technique. I'm also trained in brainspotting which locates points in a client’s visual field that help to access unprocessed trauma in the subcortical brain. I also use an integrative, holistic approach to consider an individual’s mental, physical, and emotional health in a unified way- with educating clients about sleep hygiene, nutrition, exercise to help heal brain and nervous system.
