If you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, life transitions, or questions about your cultural or sexual identity, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Whether you’re struggling with addiction and recovery, family relationships, cultural expectations, aging, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can provide a space to better understand yourself and move toward meaningful change. I work with adults (21+) from diverse backgrounds, including individuals navigating substance use and sex addiction recovery, LGBTQIA+ identity and questioning, cultural differences and shame, family dynamics, anxiety, fear, and major life transitions. My goal is to create a space where you feel respected, heard, and accepted exactly as you are. Clients have described me as patient, attentive, empathetic, compassionate, and approachable. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I bring experience from higher education settings, the Veterans Administration, and inpatient hospital settings, where I’ve supported individuals through crisis, recovery, and personal growth. These experiences have strengthened my ability to meet people with compassion, curiosity, and practical support during some of life’s most challenging moments. My approach is collaborative, affirming, and centered on the whole person. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), I tailor therapy to your unique experiences, strengths, and goals. I provide a gender-affirming, LGBTQIA+-affirming, age-affirming, and sex-positive environment where you can explore difficult topics without fear of judgment. I believe you are the expert on your own life. Together, we’ll build a safe, supportive space where you can better understand yourself, develop practical tools, and create lasting change. Wherever you are in your journey, I’ll meet you there and work alongside you at a pace that feels right for you.
