We are formed by our relationships. The ones that held us, the ones that didn't, and the ones we're trying to find our way back to now. That forming lives in the body; in how you attach, how you withdraw, how you learned to protect yourself before you had words for what was happening. In relationships it shows up as the distance that grows without either person choosing it, the love that's still there but can't seem to reach. In ourselves, the high-functioning life that feels hollow underneath. I work with couples ready to move beneath the surface — and individuals ready to stop running the same patterns. With couples I draw on Relational Life Therapy and sex and intimacy therapy; moving past blame and withdrawal into real reconnection, emotional and physical. Most couples I work with aren't facing an immediate ending. They're good at life together. Something has just gone quiet. They come because they're tired of calling fine enough. Sessions are 75 minutes. With individuals we meet the protective patterns organized around early relational experience. We work with your body, not just your words. I work particularly well with high-achieving adults who understand their patterns intellectually but haven't yet touched the somatic and relational layer where things actually shift.
