Hey, my name is Phil! If you’re struggling with your weight or your relationship with food, you may already know how complicated this journey can be. Maybe you’re preparing for bariatric surgery, adjusting to life after surgery, experiencing weight regain, or finding that old habits keep creeping back in. Maybe you’re dealing with emotional eating, body image concerns, shame, guilt, or negative thoughts about yourself and your body. When these struggles go unaddressed, the cycle can become exhausting. We can find ourselves caught between guilt and regret, frustration and self-criticism, restriction and emotional eating, or constantly starting over and feeling like we've failed again. Weight changes can affect our confidence, relationships, identity, and the way we see ourselves. Sometimes we just want someone to understand what we're going through. As a bariatric patient myself, I understand that this journey is about so much more than a number on the scale. That’s where therapy can help. Not only do I help individuals explore their weight loss journey's, but I also help those who are struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions and stressors, relationships, and individuals in the LGBTQ+ community. Together, we can work through the thoughts and emotions you may be experiencing and develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself. Reach out, I'd love to chat with you!
