Therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff, intimidating, or overly clinical. I believe meaningful work happens when you feel understood as a whole person, not just a diagnosis. I use humor, real-life examples, and familiar cultural references to help connect complex emotional patterns to everyday experiences—because insight sticks better when it actually makes sense in real life. I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families (ages 9–65). I’ve been practicing since 2016 and am licensed in Maryland and Virginia. My approach is person-centered, collaborative, and flexible. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. I work with concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, relational and family challenges, identity exploration, women’s issues, and the many stressors that show up during life transitions. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, or trying to make sense of who you’re becoming, therapy can be a space to slow things down, build skills, and reconnect with yourself. If you’re looking for a therapist who is warm, grounded, honest, and able to balance depth with lightness, you’re in the right place. We’ll do real work here… and we might laugh a little along the way.
