Introduction

If your mind never shuts off, your body stays on edge, and you feel like you’re constantly managing life instead of living it, you’re not alone. Many of the people who reach out to me are exhausted from anxiety, overwhelmed by past experiences of trauma and they can’t seem to move beyond, or they're frustrated that “talking about it” hasn’t actually changed anything. They’re high-functioning on the outside and worn down on the inside. They don’t want fluff. They want real tools, real clarity, and real relief. I specialize in working with adults navigating anxiety, trauma responses, chronic stress, and major life disruptions. My approach is structured, skill-based, and grounded in how the brain actually works under stress. We focus on understanding what your nervous system is doing, identifying the patterns that keep you stuck, and building practical strategies that restore emotional control, cognitive flexibility, and a sense of direction. I’m Piper Harris, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and the creator of the Untangled Mind Pathway, a data-driven, assessment-based treatment system designed to support meaningful, sustainable change. My work integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with neuropsychological education so clients understand not just what to do, but why it works. Sessions are direct, structured, and collaborative, designed for adults who are ready to actively engage in the work of change.
