Introduction

Poppy Peluce-Fune, Licensed Clinical Social Worker has contributed to the field of mental and emotional health for more than 18 years. She has served a wide range of populations and socio-economic levels to include children of all ages, adolescents, and adults. She is experienced with individuals, families and couples all seeking a path toward a greater well- being. She is passionate about helping individuals and groups find a greater meaning in themselves and their lives. Poppy utilizes generalist methods that include particular attention to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness/Meditation, and Psychodynamic exploration of the past. She is also an EMDR specialist and bases her practice on the acknowledgment of big and little traumas unique to the experiences of the individual or family. In addition to her clinical work, Poppy has supervised graduate level interns and coordinated community based programs to ensure that best practices and quality client services are at the forefront of care provision. Poppy is also a long term member of NASW (National Association Of Social Workers). In her free time, Poppy enjoys raising her twin boys, spending time with her family including her pets, partaking in her own mindfulness and meditation practices, and last but not least just simply enjoying life.
