Peace Family I am Porcha D. Wafford, LSW, known to most as Maati. I graduated from Fisk University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Education, and received a Master’s from Howard University’s School of Social Work. As a licensed social worker in Ohio, I offer holistic counseling support grounded in somatic healing and social justice to move individuals toward self-care and sovereignty. I hold an intentional liberatory space for adolescents, teens, and adults who require support with life transitions and the experience of grief, depression, and anxiety. I utilize narrative therapeutic techniques and mindfulness to support individuals in taking the lead in their transformation, while creating the script for their own lives.
