Introduction

Peace Family I am Porcha D. Wafford, LSW, known to most as Maati. I graduated from Fisk University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Education, and received a Master’s from Howard University’s School of Social Work. As a licensed social worker in Ohio, I offer holistic counseling support grounded in somatic healing and social justice to move individuals toward self-care and sovereignty. I hold an intentional liberatory space for adolescents, teens, and adults who require support with life transitions and the experience of grief, depression, and anxiety. I utilize narrative therapeutic techniques and mindfulness to support individuals in taking the lead in their transformation, while creating the script for their own lives. I can be seen virtually, Monday 10 a.m. to 7 p. m., Tuesday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. To request an appointment, please go to our client portal online. I am accepting new clients at this time! I am under the supervision of De’Asia L. Thompson, LISW-S. Insurances accepted: Commercial- Anthem, Aetna, Medical Mutual, Custom Designed Benefits Medicaid- Anthem, Amerihealth Caritas Ohio, Humana, United Health Care Community Plan, Caresource, Molina, EAP- Loveland Foundation
