I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate and a recent graduate of Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am currently working under clinical supervision towards the full LPC licensure. As a queer, Nepali American, my own experiences navigating identity, belonging, and healing across cultures led me to this work. These experiences guide my counseling style, which is warm, non-judgmental, and grounded in compassion. I am passionate about supporting adolescents, LGBTQIA+ individuals, South Asian and BIPOC communities, and people navigating trauma, depression or anxiety. I am committed to traditional talk therapy and approach my work through a multicultural lens while incorporating modalities like CBT, ACT, Person-Centered Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. I speak both English and Nepali, and I bring cultural awareness and humility into every therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where all parts of you are accepted and met with genuine curiosity. Outside of counseling, I enjoy crocheting or knitting while watching movies and spending time with my partner and our two cats. I also enjoy reading, listening to music, and playing my guitar, all the while being outside and connecting with nature.
