We may all be accustomed to living in translation, moving between cultures, identities, family expectations, public roles, and the parts of ourselves that learned how to survive. While on the outside, we appear capable and self-aware, internally, we may feel exhausted, disconnected, hyperaware, or uncertain about what is genuinely ours. I work with clients navigating complex trauma, grief, relational wounds, identity integration, major life transitions, and the effects of cultural and systemic oppression. I work to understand patterns such as overfunctioning, people-pleasing, emotional withdrawal, control, or difficulty trusting as adaptations that may once have protected you, not evidence that you are broken. Together, we explore what these patterns have carried, what they may now be costing you, and how you can develop greater regulation, choice, self-trust, and clarity in your relationships. My approach is relational, trauma-informed, culturally grounded, and honest. Therapy with me makes room for both your inner world and the broader contexts shaping it; this may include family, culture, faith, migration, identity, power, and belonging. This work is about helping you return to yourself and build a life that feels more grounded, connected, and fully your own.
