Rachel Armstrong has her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and has worked in the mental health field for four years. She specializes in creating a welcoming environment for both adolescents and adults and has experience working with a wide variety of concerns including anxiety, panic attacks, depression and other mood disorders, relationship issues, and life transitions. Rachel uses evidence-based strategies from multiple therapeutic theories to create an integrative approach for the individual challenges that are unique to each person. Rachel believes that therapy should be a supplement to your life and not a separate space, that the work you do in session will have impacts on your everyday life. At your request, Rachel is glad to incorporate a Christian perspective if desired. Outside of therapy, Rachel loves spending time with her friends, family, and dog. She’s a big fan of exploring and hiking but also loves a good board game or movie night. She loves serving at her church and is genuinely glad you are seeking your next step in growth!
