Introduction

I am a Provisional Professional Counselor (PPC) / Licensed Professional Counselor In-Training (LPC-IT) who works with clients from a wide range of backgrounds, identities, and life experiences. I take a person-centered and reality therapy approach, emphasizing empathy, authenticity, personal agency, and the belief that meaningful change can begin by exploring what matters most to each individual and the choices available to them. I have a special interest in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, chronic pain and illness, grief and loss related to companion animals, and the unique emotional challenges experienced by animal welfare professionals, caregivers, and advocates. I understand that chronic illness, pain, grief, caregiving, and emotionally demanding work can profoundly impact a person’s identity, relationships, sense of purpose, and overall quality of life. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and respected. Together, we can explore your needs, values, relationships, and goals while identifying practical ways to strengthen your sense of agency and move toward a life that feels more meaningful and manageable. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I meet each client where they are while honoring both their strengths and the realities of what they are experiencing.
