Introduction

Rachel Cox is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) with over two decades of leadership experience at the intersection of behavioral health, vocational rehabilitation, and community systems. Her clinical work is informed by a deep understanding of the social, economic, and psychological factors that influence individual functioning and long-term stability. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Master of Science in Counseling from the University of Arkansas. Her clinical approach integrates evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). She practices through a trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming lens, with a focus on supporting individuals navigating executive burnout, identity development, relational stress, and barriers to meaningful employment. In addition to her clinical practice, Rachel serves as the Executive Director and CEO of Dress for Success Northwest Arkansas, where she has led large-scale program development, systems-level interventions, and workforce initiatives impacting thousands of individuals across the region. Her expertise in vocational counseling and workforce reintegration uniquely positions her to support clients in aligning mental health, identity, and career pathways. Rachel has contributed to the field through leadership roles on nonprofit boards, including the Northwest Arkansas Center for Sexual Assault, and has been recognized for her impact with honors such as 40 Under 40 and Remarkable Woman of Northwest Arkansas. Her work is grounded in both clinical training and lived experience, allowing her to bring a nuanced, empathetic, and pragmatic approach to care. She is particularly passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals, survivors of trauma, high-capacity professionals experiencing burnout, and those seeking clarity, resilience, and sustainable change.
