Introduction

| About Me | A Collaborative Approach to Parenting | I am a psychotherapist and parent expert committed to helping moms and dads build healthier relationships with their children and themselves. My work focuses on addressing the ineffective behaviors, habits, and ingrained beliefs that often make parenting harder than it needs to be. I believe in taking a collaborative approach to help you and your family reach your parenting goals. I am passionate about creating resources for well-intentioned families who are struggling to parent intense, energetic, and strong-willed children. My goal is to empower parents to regulate their emotions, foster meaningful family connections, and create joyful, harmonious homes. | Ready to Begin? | If you are interested in scheduling a FREE consultation with me, please send an appointment request using the REQUEST BUTTON on this website. | Fees, Privacy, and Financial Assistance | I am an Out-of-Network provider (Private Pay). This model allows me to prioritize your privacy and provide tailored care without the limitations often imposed by insurance panels. | Private Pay for Maximum Privacy | Many clients choose private pay (paying the full fee directly) to protect their medical records and ensure complete control over their treatment. By avoiding the insurance system, you prevent a mental health diagnosis from being recorded in your permanent insurance history and gain ultimate flexibility in session frequency and length. We accept most major credit cards, and our services are eligible for payment using your Health Savings Account (HSA). I also proudly accept LYRA Health benefits. | Using Your Out-of-Network (OON) Benefits | If you have a PPO or other plan with OON coverage, you may be eligible to be reimbursed for a significant portion of my fee (typically 50–80%). Dealing with insurance can be confusing, so I partner with two excellent services to simplify and streamline the process: Thrizer and Mentaya. Option 1: Thrizer (The Most Affordable Upfront) Thrizer makes therapy immediately more affordable by fronting the cost of your expected reimbursement. After you meet your deductible, you may be able to pay only your estimated co-pay for each session. Thrizer automatically submits the claim and waits for the reimbursement on your behalf, allowing you to skip the 4–6 week wait time. For your peace of mind, Thrizer offers a strict "no back-charges ever" policy, meaning if a claim is unexpectedly denied, the risk is on them, not on you. Option 2: Mentaya (Fast, Simple Reimbursement) Mentaya is my partner for a streamlined claim process. You pay my full fee, and Mentaya instantly and automatically submits your out-of-network claim. They handle all follow-up and resubmissions at no extra cost to you. Once your deductible is met, your insurer sends your reimbursement (typically 50-80% of the fee) directly to you within a few weeks. Alternatively, if you prefer to manage the process yourself, we can provide a traditional Superbill (a detailed receipt) for you to submit to your insurance manually. | Next Step | I offer a free benefit verification through both platforms to instantly determine your deductible and estimated out-of-pocket cost before your first appointment. | Telehealth Service Area | I am licensed to provide telehealth psychotherapy services to clients located in the following states: Oregon (OR), Washington (WA), and Massachusetts (MA).
