Therapy opens the door to what the heart has yet to say. I’m Rachel Fontaine, a therapist and former educator with 20+ years of experience helping people grow, learn, and connect. I create a warm, creative space where kids, teens, and families can build skills, regulate emotions, and feel understood. I often incorporate art-informed and play-based interventions to help express what words alone can’t—opening pathways to insight, emotional regulation, and self-discovery. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each person and family. I draw from strengths-based, integrative strategies, including CBT/DBT-informed skills, mindfulness, family systems, and creative practices to foster resilience and meaningful change. I support anxiety, school stress and perfectionism, identity and self-esteem concerns, friendship and family dynamics, and life transitions. I also partner closely with parents and caregivers, offering practical tools to strengthen communication, connection, and consistency at home. My goal is simple: help young people feel seen, safe, and empowered—and help families grow together with compassion and confidence.
