I provide individual therapy to adults and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and overwhelm related to transitional stages in life, difficulties in relationships, or a traumatic experience. I also work with people who are searching for a stronger sense of self and identity. Therapy is a unique experience aimed at achieving a sense of personal freedom across all facets of life. As we start our work together, I will learn about who you are today within the context of your past experiences and relationships. This may involve taking a closer look at patterns that repeat themselves in your relationships with family members, romantic relationships, friendships or your career - all areas of great meaning. It may also involve working through feelings of being stuck, of sadness, grief, loss, or past traumatic experiences. I will encourage you to closely reflect upon these emotional and relational patterns that no longer serve you with the goal of establishing a deeper and more authentic connectedness with yourself and others. Through an insight-oriented framework and a collaborative approach, I provide a space where people feel comfortable working through the challenges they face. I work frequently with high achieving individuals, first-generation Americans, individuals from mixed cultural backgrounds, and those who were adopted. I firmly believe in the uniqueness of each individual and as such, remain flexible in my approach to treatment.
