My name is Rachel, and I am a licensed professional counselor-in-training who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and their families. In addition, I enjoy working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds, gender identities, sexual orientations, and ages. I support clients who are facing concerns about eating, body image, gender and sexuality identity questions, self-esteem and self-image challenges, racial and cultural concerns, anxiety, depression, trauma, relational issues, life transitions, and safety concerns, including self-harm or suicidal ideation. I take a client-centered and integrative approach to therapy. I combine methods and techniques of differing modalities with culturally and trauma-informed responsive care to create a safe, compassionate space where you feel seen and heard. Together we will set goals and build a plan tailored to your mental, emotional, or physical well-being. Taking the first step can feel daunting and vulnerable, but you don't have to do it alone. I hope to create a space where you can feel comfortable enough to be yourself and become a better version of yourself. Feel free to reach out if and when you are ready. I look forward to working alongside you on your journey to the best version of you.
