Introduction

Hello! I'm glad you're here. I started Lionheart Counseling because I believe people are built for more than just surviving. If that's you, you're in the right place! The name comes from my family — Leonard, German for "lion-hearted" — and from St. Leonard of Noblat, a patron saint known for releasing captives and inviting them into second-chance, restorative relationships. That idea shapes everything about how I work: therapy isn't just about getting through the hard part, it's about rebuilding who you are and who you're becoming on the other side of it. I work with adolescents & adults, couples, and families navigating trauma, addiction recovery, ADHD and neurodivergence, and the unique pressures of ministry and missionary life. I offer ongoing therapy for clients in Ohio and Kentucky. Wherever you're starting from, I'd love to walk with you toward the life you were created to live.
