Hi, I'm Rachel Rivas, a bilingual Associate Marriage and Family Therapist working with individuals, families, and adolescents in the East Bay. I offer sessions in both English and Spanish. My approach to this work is rooted in cultural humility and a genuine curiosity about who you are, where you come from, and what has shaped your experience. I especially love working with BIPOC communities, Spanish-speaking families, and young people navigating the pressures of school, identity, and systems that weren't always built with them in mind. I believe therapy doesn't have to be a formal, distant experience. It can be honest, warm, and grounded in your actual life. I'm still learning and growing in this work myself, and I think that makes me a better clinician as someone who shows up with openness rather than all the answers. Whether you're carrying something heavy, trying to understand yourself better, or just looking for a space where you can finally slow down and I'm here for that.
