These modalities include: - Internal Family Systems (IFS): I use this gentle, transformative approach to foster self-compassion, connect with your inner wisdom, and resolve internal conflict. - Somatic Experiencing (SE): Since trauma and stress are held in the body, this body-based method helps to regulate the nervous system and release trauma held in the body. - Relational Psychotherapy: My clinical foundation is in this approach, emphasizing the power of the therapeutic relationship as a tool for healing and growth. - Mindfulness & ACT: I incorporate mindfulness and tools from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you manage difficult thoughts and focus on your values. Adjunct Therapy Available: If you are already working with a primary therapist, I offer specialized adjunct treatment focusing specifically on Somatic Experiencing (SE) or IFS. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), with over a decade and a half of professional experience. - Clinical Experience: I served for eight years as a Staff Therapist at Columbia University Counseling and Psychological Services. - Education: I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from NYU and an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania (graduating Cum Laude and majoring in Religious Studies). -Post graduate training: I have a Certificate in Relational Psychotherapy from the Stephen Mitchell Institute, a Certificate of Completion in Level I Internal Family Systems Therapy, and a Certificate of Completion in Somatic Experiencing Therapy (in the beginner and intermediate levels).
