Introduction

Welcome to Evergreen Psychiatry Immediate availability — call now to schedule within 1 week! Hi, I’m Rachel — a nurse practitioner with over 15 years of experience. I support children, teens, and adults across Colorado with mental health and substance use (dual diagnosis) care, and life's many challenges. Is this you: Do you feel anxious, stressed, or overwhelmed by daily pressures? Have you been feeling down or noticing that your mood, sleep, or relationships are being impacted? Are you questioning your relationship with alcohol, cannabis, prescription medications, or other substances? Do you have a partner, friend, or family member encouraging you to seek support? Do you worry about taking that first step to reach out for help? If any of this sounds familiar — you are not alone. Change is possible, and I’m here to help. What to Expect: In our first visit, we’ll take time to get to know your story, explore your needs, and talk about what you’d like to change. Together we’ll review treatment options, discuss your hopes for the future, and create a plan tailored to help you feel and function better. Care may include: diagnostic and medication evaluation, therapy, medication management, or a combination of approaches. Specialized Training in Substance Use Care: Substance use can look different for everyone — and treatment should reflect that. I provide evidence-based medication assisted treatment (MAT) for alcohol, stimulants, opioids (including Suboxone), cannabis, kratom, and more. These medications can reduce cravings and heavy use, and they may be part of a broader plan that fits your goals. Some of my clients want complete sobriety. Others simply want to explore their current use and find a healthier balance. Wherever you are on that spectrum, you’ll find a nonjudgmental, confidential space here. My role is to meet you with compassion and practical tools for change. My Approach: I believe care works best as a partnership. My role is to walk alongside you as we work together toward your goals — helping you better understand and manage your mental health so you can live with more intention, freedom, and peace of mind. Recognitions: I have been honored with multiple patient care awards, including National Magnet Nurse of the Year and the Colorado Nightingale Luminary Award. These reflect not just professional achievements, but my deep commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care. Fees & Insurance: I’m an out-of-pocket provider, with payment due at the time of service. I can provide a superbill so you may submit for potential out-of-network reimbursement with your insurance. Privacy & Confidentiality I understand the importance of protecting your privacy. I have experience working with first responders who face both substance use concerns and the stigma often surrounding mental health, and I bring that same discretion and care to all of my clients.
