Introduction

yes, that was a Mean Girls reference - no shame. I work with women in their 20s and 30s who are trying to figure things out. Because honestly…life is hard. And a lot of us feel like we should have it all together by now but don’t quite. So let’s work through our shit and figure out how to actually get where you want to go. I hear things like: “Am I too broken?” “Is this TMI?” “Am I taking up too much space?” Not here. I didn’t become a therapist because I wanted easy, neat clients. We can get messy and we can heal. Bring your full, authentic self. We’ll do the work together. We’ll go deep, and we’ll also laugh. I'll challenge you. We'll go beyond insight & create real change. I’ll probably cuss a bit. Your dog/cat/iguana/whatever is always welcome in session. Most importantly, this will feel like a real human connection not a stiff, clinical experience. A bit more about me: I’m liberal and queer. I hike everyday, kayak whenever I can, play in an adult skee-ball league, needle-felt, and occasionally perform stand-up comedy. Favorites: The Office, Pitch Perfect, grilled cheese & tomato soup, the color teal, and penguins (that waddle though). If this sounds like your kind of space, email me to set up a free 15-minute video chat at rachel@centerforslumber.com or schedule directly on my calendar.
