I came to therapy through my love of art and people. We’re born self-healing, creative problem-solvers, and I am honored to help people redisover that in themselves. In an increasingly digitial age, my practice centers around our humanness: our complexity, our capacity for true connection, and our emaphty for one another. My background as an artist and training as an art therapist shape how I see people and problems, whether or not we make art in session. I draw from Acceptance and Committment Therapy, mindfulness, Jungian depth psychology, somatic, narrative and existential approaches. Feeling better matters but so does this: pain is part of being human and relief often comes from increasing our ability to tolerate life’s discomfort and live fully and joyfully in our story.
