Introduction

I have been in practice for almost 10 years with experience in various settings including inpatient psychiatric facility, community mental health agencies, school-based children's services, and group private practice. I am dedicated to the betterment of the community and serving the people who live in it. I have a passion for working with adult survivors of abuse, attachment trauma, and/or other traumatic experiences. In my practice I utilize a range of trauma-informed and evidence-based therapy techniques including, but not limited to, EMDR. The goal is to reduce distress associated with traumatic memories and/or symptoms. When EMDR therapy treatment is successful, the distress is relieved, negative beliefs are reformulated, and physiological arousal is reduced. It is an honor to walk alongside individuals and families as they heal, grow, and find purpose and meaning in their lives.
