Introduction

Hi! My name is Rachel. I am so happy you’re here! I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and the owner of Flourish Mental Health. Supporting people of all ages—from young children and teens to adults—is not just my work, but my heartfelt passion. I feel honored to walk alongside you on your unique path toward healing, growth, and a fuller, more meaningful life. I know life can feel overwhelming at times. Whether you’re facing depression, anxiety, behavioral or parenting challenges, trauma, stress, life transitions, or complicated relationship dynamics, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to face these challenges by yourself. I truly believe every person has the inner strength and resilience to overcome difficulties and flourish. Together, we’ll create a warm, safe, and nurturing space where you or your child can feel fully heard, understood, and valued just as you are. My hope is for you to feel safe and free to explore and process your unique thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a way that is most comfortable to you. My approach is firmly rooted in Person Centered Therapy, meaning that I believe you know yourself best, and my role is to provide support, insight, and encouragement tailored just for you. I also draw from proven approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Reality Therapy to offer practical tools and create a personalized map that supports your healing and growth. When working with children, I use Play Therapy to support healthy expression, communication, and growth. Play is a powerful tool, as it is a child’s first language! Play therapy empowers children to express themselves freely when they might not have the understanding or words to do so yet. This approach helps kids process emotions in a safe, comfortable, and developmentally appropriate way. Whether you’re seeking counseling for yourself, your child, or your teen, I’m here to support and guide you every step of the way. It is truly a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they heal, grow, and create a life where they can truly "flourish!" *** Have questions about counseling or wondering if it’s the right fit? *** *** Not sure if you’re ready, but thinking about it? *** *** Curious what counseling could look like for you or your child? *** I’d love to chat and explore how I can help!
