“It’s fine, I’m fine, everything is fine.” Sound like you? This is more common than you think. And in a society that is so image-driven, as humans with real struggles and difficult seasons, we find ourselves feeling pressured to force it or just get over it. When we do this, we dismiss our own needs and miss out on opportunities to communicate, connect, and grow. Avoiding our needs impacts how we show up for ourselves, our relationships, and in other areas of life. In this therapeutic space, I will encourage you to acknowledge all emotions- good, bad, ugly, and indifferent. You don’t have to to be “fine.” In this therapeutic space, it’s okay to bring your messy, your chaotic, your sad, grieving, and stressful- because all of this is a part of you. And it will never be too much, you are not “too much,” and I’m open to listening, supporting you, and unpacking it all together. I am dedicated to supporting you as you navigate life transitions, stress management, relationships, and reframing your perspective while struggling with anxiety or depression. I will encourage you to identify the challenges you’re facing and I will empower you to challenge your current thought patterns and identify your needs. In doing this through a strengths-based perspective with a solution-focused lens, I hope to encourage you to choose yourself, regain control, and cultivate a life you can find confidence, joy, and meaning in. The time we spend together in sessions will be focused on you, your needs, and making sure you are truly heard. I encourage you to be intentional about carving out time for yourself in therapy. I can accommodate your schedule, either in-person or via telehealth; please reach out and we can schedule your time for you!
