Introduction

I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia since 2006 and hold a specialized certification in perinatal mental health (PMH-C). Through the Counseling Compact, I am also authorized to provide therapy services in Indiana, Tennessee, Ohio & Minnesota. Please note that I currently offer in-person therapy services exclusively in GA. I specialize in the treatment of perinatal mental health conditions and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). My services also include parenting support, treatment for depression and anxiety and support for individuals navigating life after divorce. My clinical experience and training are diverse, reflecting my deep passion and commitment to helping people navigate their unique healing journeys. My therapeutic approach is grounded in clinical theory, research and professional experience, but above all, it is rooted in compassion. I believe that effective therapy combines evidence-based treatment with a safe, supportive environment where you feel seen, understood and empowered. For individuals experiencing OCD, I utilize Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP) and Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT). ERP helps individuals gradually face their fears, reduce compulsive behaviors and build confidence in their ability to navigate uncertainty. I-CBT helps resolve obsessional doubts by helping individuals recognize and challenge obsessive doubt by reconnecting with their direct experience and trusting their senses rather than getting caught in imagined possibilities. I integrate a variety of other therapeutic approaches including: • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) • Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) • Yoga-informed practices, supported by my 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) training I believe every person has an inherent need to belong, feel connected, capable and to make a meaningful difference in the world. As a therapist, my goal is to support you in your healing through evidence-based treatment while providing a safe and compassionate space to explore life's challenges, reconnect with your strengths and move forward with greater confidence and ease. Whether you are navigating the transition to parenthood, struggling with OCD or anxiety, seeking parenting support, or finding your footing after divorce, you don't have to navigate these challenges alone. You deserve hope and healing.🤍 I'd love to connect with you. 📞 Call: (770) 762-4623 💻 Website: Click “Contact” or “Request Appointment” “You are not alone; you are not to blame.
