I bring more than 20 years of clinical experience and 40 years in education to my work as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) with a Ph.D. I've had the privilege of serving individuals, couples, and families—from teenagers through older adults—and I approach each person's unique needs with a flexible, multimodal style. My background includes university teaching positions in California and Connecticut, and I've served as past president of the Connecticut Counseling Association. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, career counseling, and relationship work, drawing on approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness-based practices, and person-centered therapy. My fundamental belief is that all meaningful counseling is heart-centered—grounded in genuine connection and focused on helping you move toward greater functionality, resilience, and fulfillment in your life and relationships.
