Hi, I’m Rashida. I’m a therapist, social worker, and grief educator who believes grief is about more than death. It can show up after any meaningful loss, including the ones you may have felt did not deserve space. I work with clients navigating grief, life transitions, anxiety, depression, adult ADHD, identity concerns, relationships, and the emotional complexities of motherhood and family life. My approach is person-centered, grief- and trauma-informed, and integrates ACT and IFS-informed perspectives. Sessions are rooted in warmth, validation, curiosity, and a small slice of humor. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel safe enough to exhale, spill your tea, and bring your grief, anger, anxiety, confusion, and contradictions without judgment. My role is not to fix you, but to sit beside you as we gently untangle what hurts, make meaning of your story, and move toward a life that feels more grounded, meaningful, and a little less heavy.
