Blue Horse Child and Family Psychiatry offers steady, caring guidance for children and teens, ages 6 through high school, and the families who walk with them. Dr. Ravi Singh is a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist with experience in hospital and community settings and as teaching faculty for Virginia’s pediatric mental health access program. He provides thorough evaluations and thoughtful medication management for ADHD, anxiety, and depression, with brief, practical therapy woven into visits so families leave with something to try, not just a prescription. He also welcomes children and teens on the autism spectrum who need care for these conditions; he does not provide autism diagnostic evaluations, and can suggest where to seek one. Care begins with a two-part evaluation: a 90-minute first visit to understand your child’s story, followed by a treatment-planning visit with parents to decide together what comes next. Parents are partners at every step, and teens are given room to speak for themselves. Saturdays in person in McLean, Virginia; secure video visits by arrangement for families located in Virginia. This is a self-pay practice — fees are discussed openly before the first visit, and receipts are provided for out-of-network reimbursement. New families: please use the request form at bluehorse.clientsecure.me/contact-widget, and Dr. Singh will be in touch within three business days.
