Introduction

In my office, you will get honesty, clarity, and someone who’s walking alongside you through the uncomfortable stuff. I’m a straight-shooter with a deep understanding of how trauma, substance use, neurodivergence, family dynamics, and life in general can completely upend your plans. Whether you’re navigating recovery, parenting, relationships, or just trying to stop the mental spiral—I'm here for the real work. My Approach: Therapy with me is collaborative, direct, and grounded in reality. I believe in digging into the patterns that are keeping you stuck, asking the hard questions, and helping you actually do something with the insight we uncover. I bring humor, grit, and empathy into the room—and I expect you to show up for yourself, even when it’s hard. Specialties: -Trauma & PTSD -ADHD & Autism in adults -Parents of children with ADHD & Autism -LGBTQ+ Individuals -Parents of LGBTQ+ Individuals -Life Transitions & Burnout -Anxiety & Emotional Regulation -Individuals in Helping Professions -Substance Use & Recovery -Substance Use Evaluations (for court or referral to inpatient) Who I Work With: I work with teens and adults who are tired of surface-level conversations and want to go deep. I’m especially drawn to working with people in high-stress, high-responsibility roles who’ve spent years holding it all together and are ready to stop white-knuckling their way through life. My Background: Before becoming a therapist, I was a high school science teacher, and childcare provider. I’ve sat with clients in psychiatric hospitals, classrooms, court, and the office. I bring that real-world experience into therapy with me. I’ve led teams, and built my own businesses. I know burnout. I know grief. And I know what it's like to rebuild. I hold a Master’s in Professional Counseling and am dually licensed in addiction and mental health in the state of Kansas. I'm also a member of the Johnson County Prevention and Recovery Coalition, and coordinate the Treatment and Recovery Subcommittee. If You're Ready... ...to stop the non-sense and get serious about healing, I’m here for that. Let’s figure out what’s actually going to move the needle in your life—and let go of the rest.
