Introduction

Hi, and welcome. I know that choosing a therapist can feel overwhelming. You may have spent a long time trying to manage things on your own, being strong for everyone else, or wondering whether what you’re going through is “enough” to seek help. I want you to know that you don’t have to figure everything out by yourself. As a therapist, I believe in meeting you exactly where you are. I’m interested in your story—not just what is happening in your life today, but the experiences, relationships, family dynamics, and circumstances that have shaped who you are. Together, we’ll explore what is working, what no longer serves you, and what you would like your life to look and feel like moving forward. My style is warm, genuine, supportive, and down-to-earth. Therapy with me is a conversation and a partnership. I may challenge you when needed, but I will also encourage you, celebrate your progress, and remind you of strengths you may have forgotten you possess. I use approaches such as CBT, mindfulness, supportive and trauma-informed therapy, and narrative techniques, but I don’t believe therapy should feel one-size-fits-all. I tailor our work to you—your personality, your experiences, your needs, and your goals. Most importantly, I want you to feel that you can show up as yourself. You don’t need to have the perfect words or know exactly what you want to change. We can figure that out together. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel heard and understood while also gaining the confidence and tools to create meaningful change in your life. If you’re ready to begin, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
