Introduction

Hello, my name is Rebecca, and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker Associate (LICSWA). I have over a decade of experience supporting individuals through life’s most challenging moments, including trauma, anxiety, grief, and major life transitions. My journey into this work began in social services, where I worked closely with children, families, and underserved communities. Through this experience, I recognized the importance of trauma-informed and culturally responsive care, which led me to specialize in mental health therapy and holistic healing approaches. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Mind-Body Medicine, which deeply informs my clinical work. This training allows me to integrate the connection between psychological, physiological, and spiritual well-being, helping clients understand how stress, trauma, and emotional experiences impact the body, and how healing can occur through both evidence-based therapy and mind-body practices. I work with older teens and adults from diverse backgrounds, including BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. I strive to create a safe, affirming space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. My approach is holistic and tailored to each individual, integrating evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while honoring the connection between mind, body, and spirit. I specialize in grief therapy and trauma therapy, supporting clients in processing loss, healing from past experiences, and moving toward meaningful growth and resilience. In our work together, my goal is to help you build insight, develop effective coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change. Whether you are navigating stress, healing from trauma, or seeking a deeper sense of balance and purpose, therapy can be a space for transformation and self-discovery. I believe healing is not just about reducing symptoms, but about reclaiming your voice, reconnecting with yourself, and creating a life that feels aligned and fulfilling.
