Introduction

From the outside, you might look like you're managing. But inside, you're tired. Maybe you're feeling stuck or disconnected from yourself, from others, or from the life you want to be living. The patterns that once helped you cope may now leave you feeling anxious, shut down, or overwhelmed. You deserve more than just getting through the day. Psychotherapy can help you move toward something more. I’m Dr. Rebecca Moe, a licensed clinical psychologist in New York and Arizona. I specialize in trauma-informed, evidence-based psychotherapy for adults who have lived through difficult or overwhelming experiences, such as trauma, loss, or chronic stress, and who are ready to explore what it means to move beyond survival. My work is grounded in the belief that healing becomes possible when you feel safe, understood, and supported in therapy. I offer care that addresses the effects of trauma while helping you reconnect with your strengths, values, and vision for the life you want to build. For over 15 years, I’ve supported individuals in healing from trauma and creating meaningful change. From 2009 to 2025, I worked as a staff psychologist with the Department of Veterans Affairs, primarily in specialty PTSD clinics. During that time, I provided frontline trauma-focused treatment, supervised emerging psychologists, offered didactics to trainees, and mentored fellow clinicians. I also served as a coordinator and champion for national VA initiatives that promoted evidence-based care, Whole Health approaches, and measurement-based practices. These experiences deeply shaped how I approach psychotherapy today. In 2025, I opened Well Being Psychology to bring integrative, trauma-informed care to private practice. My approach is collaborative, flexible, and rooted in therapies proven to help people heal. Whether you're struggling with the effects of trauma, anxiety, or depression, or tired of feeling burnt out and exhausted, I offer a welcoming and empowering space to help you make sense of your experiences, shift patterns that no longer serve you, and move toward a life that feels more vibrant and fulfilling. At Well Being Psychology, I welcome and value working with clients from all walks of life. I’m committed to cultural humility and understanding the impact of social determinants of health. I also strive to be an affirming ally to the LGBTQIA+ community. Therapy is a place where you are seen, respected, and supported, just as you are. If you’re looking for a therapist who understands the impact of trauma and stress, offers grounded, research-backed care, and leads with compassion, I’d be honored to work with you.
