I approach counseling with a deep belief in people’s capacity for resilience and change. Throughout my career, I’ve supported individuals and families facing trauma, stress, and major life transitions. I understand that healing impacts everyone connected to the experience, so I work from a holistic, family-centered perspective that strengthens the entire support system. Many people come to therapy not because of trauma, but because they need clarity, accountability, or a safe place to process emotions and problem-solve. I strive to offer a nonjudgmental, supportive environment where you can explore what’s working, what isn’t, and what you hope to build. A significant part of my work includes supporting neurodiverse individuals and their families. I provide affirming care for clients with ADHD, autism spectrum conditions, executive functioning challenges, sensory differences, and more. I help families understand each person’s unique wiring and develop communication strategies, routines, and relational approaches that build connection rather than conflict. My goal is to help both individuals and families feel empowered, understood, and supported. With over 20 years of professional experience, my background spans intimate partner violence, foster care and adoption, grief and loss, refugee adjustment, child abuse and neglect, and work with youth who have engaged in harmful sexual behaviors. These experiences have informed my approach and strengthened my belief in people’s ability to grow. I would be honored to support you as you navigate your next chapter.
