Introduction

As a former middle and high school teacher, foster-adoptive parent, foster care direct care aide, and survivor of trauma and many other things, I developed a passion and empathy for others who may be experiencing similar challenges as those I overcame. I began studying holistic approaches alongside traditional counseling and educational concepts. I am also a Board-Certified, Trauma-Informed Master Mental Health Coach, a Brain Health Coach, a Certified Professional Life Coach, and a Certified Secondary Education Teacher. For several decades, I have been equipping families and individuals to develop coping skills for difficult situations and, eventually, to experience wholeness. I specialize in helping people find their voices and special gifts to share with the world, as well as find purpose and meaning in their life experiences and defining moments. I have worked with students, adults, couples, families, and groups of all backgrounds and experiences (including prisoners, persons struggling with addiction, and others). People say that they find me approachable, warm, accepting, and caring. They express that I make them feel encouraged and hopeful. I would love to come alongside you in your journey to wholeness because YOU MATTER, and so do your feelings, dreams, and goals. Come sit down with me, and we will work together to develop your plan to succeed.
