Introduction

Hello, my name is Rebeccah. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor located in Medina, Ohio. I earned my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of New Haven. I work out of a Person-Centered/Feminist theoretical view, which essentially means that I believe therapy is most effective when the client feels in control of their experience. I view clients and counselors as equals who work together to achieve the goals of the client. I have experience working with a wide array of presenting concerns, among them depression, low self-esteem, and trauma or post-traumatic stress. I have experience working with domestic violence, sexual trauma, and trauma resulting from emotional abuse. If you have any questions about my experience or specialties, please feel free to reach out for a brief consultation in order to see if I am the right counselor for you.
