Introduction

Hello! My name is Rebekah and I’ve worked as a psychologist for over a decade in outpatient, residential, and university settings. I live in the Catskill Mountains with my husband and son. New Hampshire, Boston, and Los Angeles have been home during other seasons of life. I work with adults located in NY, MA, and NH. In my role as a psychologist, I am passionate about helping you understand barriers to living the life you want to live. Insight building, self-compassion, emotion regulation, and behavior change can all serve a role in moving through these obstacles toward purpose and meaning. I am an accepting and curious person and value self-determination and respect for your unique identity, values, and culture. In framework I look through, our early relationships affect current emotional and relationship patterns, and during therapy, the relationship between the client and therapist can be an important tool for healing these past wounds. I see the mind and body—mental and physical health—as interconnected. Understanding both what your emotions are communicating as well as how lifestyle factors play a role can be important parts of strengthening resilience. I conceptualize mental health as integration, authenticity, freedom, and flexibility.
