Hi! I'm Rebekah, but you can also call me Beka. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Trauma Therapist, and holistic mental health practitioner who helps adults move beyond survival and into deeper healing, restoration, and wholeness. My work is rooted in an integrative approach that bridges evidence-based therapy, somatic healing, nervous system regulation, cultural responsiveness, and the wisdom that exists beyond words. I believe healing happens when we honor the whole person-not only the mind, but also the body, spirit, relationships, culture, history, and lived experience that shape who we are. Many of the people I work with have spent years doing their best to hold everything together. They've read the books, listened to the podcasts, and have often spent significant time in therapy. Yet something still feels unresolved. They may understand their experiences intellectually, but continue to carry stress, grief, trauma, or disconnection in their bodies. Together, we create space for both insight and embodiment. My approach is collaborative, direct, warm, and often infused with humor. I honor the wisdom each person already carries while bringing the clinical depth needed to support meaningful change. Whether you're navigating trauma, burnout, life transitions, identity exploration, intergenerational patterns, or simply longing for a place to exhale, therapy becomes a space where all parts of you are welcome. I am deeply committed to culturally responsive, trauma-informed care and understand that healing does not happen in isolation. Our stories are shaped by personal experiences as well as historical, societal, and cultural realities. My background in restorative justice and trauma-informed practice informs my belief that healing is both personal and collective. I love working with individuals who are ready to ready to go deeper-not because healing should be difficult, but because true transformation asks us to move beyond coping and into connection. Together, we'll expand your capacity for self-trust, resilience, authenticity, and freedom. You don't have to do it perfectly. You simply have to show up honestly. My role is not to tell you who to become. My role is to help you reconnect with who you've always been. My Approach.... I believe talking is healing. Our stories matter. For generations, people have gathered in community to share wisdom, bear witness to one another's experiences, and make meaning of life's challenges. Storytelling has always been medicine. This is why talk therapy remains an important part of my work. At the same time, there are experiences that live beyond language. There are moments when we've processed something repeatedly, cried about it, understood it logically-and yet our bodies still carry it. That's where somatic and integrative therapy can offer something different. By combining traditional talk therapy with body-based approaches, we create opportunities for healing that reach beyond insight alone. Together, we'll explore the connection between your nervous system, emotions, relationships, patterns, and lived experiences so that healing becomes something you don't just understand intellectually-you can actually feel and embody. My work is informed by neuroscience, attachment theory, trauma research, restorative justice practices, decolonial perspectives, and ancestral wisdom traditions. I view healing as a process of integration. Trauma often creates fragmentation. Parts of ourselves become disconnected in order to survive. Healing invites those parts home. It allows us to reconnect with our bodies, reclaim our voice, strengthen our intuition, and deepen our relationship with ourselves. For some clients, this includes exploring intergenerational patterns, ancestral resilience, cultural identity, spirituality, or the deeper questions that arise as we heal. My goal is not simply symptom reduction. My goal is to help you cultivate greater nervous system flexibility, self-trust, connection, and wholeness so you can move through life with more freedom, authenticity, and ease. You May Be a Good Fit If... • You've done a lot of self-work but still feel stuck in certain patterns. • You're tired of simply surviving and are ready to experience deeper healing. • You're curious about the connection between trauma, the nervous system, and emotional wellbeing. • You're seeking a therapist who honors cultural identity, lived experience, and the broader systems that impact mental health. • You value both science and spirituality and are looking for a space where those conversations can coexist. • You're interested in healing that includes the mind, body, and spirit. • You're ready to actively participate in your growth while honoring your own pace and autonomy. • You're looking for a restorative space where you can breathe, process, heal, and reconnect with yourself. If any of this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out today for a free 25 minute consultation!
