I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC-c). I earned my Master of Science in Counseling at the University of Southern Maine and work as a Functional Family Therapist. Before specializing as a family clinician, I had extensive work with individuals who have experienced trauma, providing trauma-informed care and support, which led to my learning about how it can affect a person and their brain. My background also includes serving as a case manager in a community mental health agency, as well as working in a hospital with suicidal clients that I had to monitor closely; in both settings, I helped navigate crises and access appropriate care. Rooted in clinical expertise and a deep appreciation for my Canadian heritage, I bring a compassionate and culturally informed perspective to my practice. My approach emphasizes collaboration, empowerment, and practical strategies to help families and individuals build lasting change. I have worked with all ages, families, couples, and teenagers.
