As an Arab Muslim American and daughter of immigrants, I bring a culturally responsive and inclusive perspective to my work as a therapist. I believe that therapy should be a space where you can show up as your full self and where your culture, faith, family, identity, and lived experiences are respected and welcomed. I work with adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationships, motherhood, and the many challenges that can come with feeling caught between different identities, expectations, or communities. I also have experience supporting survivors of sexual abuse, domestic violence, spiritual abuse, and religious trauma. My goal is to offer a space that feels safe, compassionate, and free of judgment, especially for those whose experiences may not always feel understood or represented in traditional mental health settings. My approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), family and marital therapy, narrative therapy, and motivational interviewing. I tailor therapy to each person rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, with an emphasis on practical tools, self-understanding, and meaningful, lasting change. Clients often describe me as genuine, compassionate, and grounded. I strive to meet people where they are, listen without judgment, and walk alongside them as they make sense of their experiences and work toward the life and relationships they want. I provide counseling in both English and Arabic and work with individuals and couples from young adulthood through later life. I’m currently accepting new clients and would be honored to support you on your journey.
