My approach to therapy is grounded in person-centered techniques. Meaning I like to tailor each session to the unique needs, strengths, and goals of the client I am seeing. I believe that every person has the capacity for growth and health when they truly feel heard, understood, and supported. My priority is to create a safe, compassionate, and trusting environment where both children and adults feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I work with individuals experiencing behavioral challenges, depression, anxiety, and other mental health concerns/diagnosis. I am constantly open to adapting my approaches to meet clients where they are. When working with children and adolescents, I focus on helping them build emotional regulation skills and develop healthy coping strategies for everyday life. I value a collaborative process, partnering with clients (and families when appropriate) to set meaningful goals and work together toward lasting change. Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process, and I strive to ensure each client feels empowered, supported, and actively involved in their own growth and progress.
