I have always had a passion for helping people. My career began as a teacher and then transitioned into School Counseling, where I discovered my desire to make a deeper impact in supporting others through life’s challenges. This devotion to the mental health field has guided me into private practice, where I continue to help clients face tough challenges, cope with life’s ups and downs, and move toward healing and growth. As a trauma-informed provider, I work primarily with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and relationship challenges, though I also support clients with other areas of focus. My therapeutic approach is client-centered, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Mindfulness-Based Therapy. I aim to empower clients to change the way they view themselves, embrace greater self-acceptance, and focus on who they are and who they want to become. The clients I work with are open to making positive changes in their lives, and together we explore healthier perceptions of self, challenge problematic negative thinking, and build toward positive self-reflection. I strive to create a safe, compassionate, and collaborative space where clients feel supported in their journey of growth and resilience. I currently serve clients online throughout Georgia and South Carolina, offering flexible and accessible therapy in a confidential setting. My goal is to help each client not only reduce distressing symptoms but also cultivate empowerment, confidence, and a renewed sense of balance in life.
