If you are looking to gain insight into your patterns of behavior, strengthen your personal relationships, create meaningful change, and experience profound personal growth, you have come to the right place. I work with adults, couples, and families, and specialize in addressing anxiety and mood disorders, trauma and PTSD, as well as interpersonal and relationship difficulties. I believe that therapy should be tailored to the individual, as opposed to being a “one size fits all” model, and therefore establishing trust and cultivating the therapeutic relationship is always a primary objective of mine. I often draw from various models, including attachment-based and psychodynamic approaches to identify how the past influences the present, as well as use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills in order to affect emotional and behavioral change. Patients typically describe me as warm, compassionate and collaborative, as well as honest, direct, and willing to push back against set beliefs. I tend to bring humor and focus to the present moment in each of my sessions. I enjoy working side-by-side with my patients to help them identify patterns and values, create lasting change, and realize their goals.
