I work with adults, college students, and professionals who feel caught in anxiety-driven patterns that may be difficult to shift through traditional talk therapy alone. These patterns can range from generalized anxiety and chronic overthinking to more obsessive, OCD-related experiences. For some, this shows up as visible compulsive behaviors. For others, it shows up in more internally focused ways, sometimes referred to as Pure O, where persistent rumination, “what if” spirals, and mental checking or reviewing become attempts to quiet distressing thoughts and anxiety. Usually, it feels less like “stress” and more like your mind won’t let something go. For many of my clients, these patterns can intensify during life transitions, identity shifts, periods of increased responsibility, or times when questions of meaning and direction feel pressing. I’m a bilingual (English/Portuguese) Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC #21292) providing telehealth therapy for clients across California. My work is grounded in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and I incorporate Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) when appropriate. Our work together is structured and collaborative, focused on helping you step out of rumination and reassurance-seeking, build tolerance for uncertainty, and develop practical skills so your mind has less control over your day. You don’t need to get rid of your thoughts for therapy to help. Together, we’ll shift how you respond to anxiety-driven patterns so you can move forward with lasting clarity, steadiness, and freedom.
