Introduction

Dr. Nero is an esteemed psychologist who works with older adults with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, grief, and other complex mental health issues. She specializes in developing resilience and coping skills. Spirituality is also a specialization of Dr. Nero's. She is a retired professor, retired chair of the psychology department, and retired director of graduate programs at Houston Christian University. She is on the board of directors for the Harris Center Foundation for mental health and also on the board of directors of the Ashley Jadine Foundation.
