Introduction

I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and the founder of SLM Counseling, a virtual therapy practice based in Chicago. I work with adults across Illinois who are high functioning navigating anxiety, childhood/family trauma, and survivors of abuse. My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded — drawing on DBT, psychodynamic approaches, trauma informed and IFS focused, but always tailored to the person in front of me. I also provide clinical supervision to LPC-track therapists who are building their craft and self-awareness. I started SLM Counseling to build something I'd actually want for myself — a space that's honest, unhurried, and genuinely supportive.
