Introduction

I offer a warm, collaborative, and affirming space for youth and adults to explore what is happening in their lives and develop ways of moving through challenges that feel authentic to who they are. My approach is grounded in curiosity, respect, and the belief that therapy works best when you feel genuinely seen and understood. I draw from DBT skills, trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and body-based approaches, while adapting therapy to your individual needs rather than expecting you to fit into a particular model. I especially enjoy working with LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent clients, as well as people navigating multiracial and multicultural identities, grief and loss, trauma, life transitions, relationships, identity, and experiences of marginalization. Grief is a particular area of interest for me, and I have facilitated grief groups, workshops, and community-based grief programs and completed training as an End-of-Life Doula. I understand grief broadly—not only as the death of someone important, but also as the losses that can accompany changes in relationships, family, health, identity, community, or the life you expected to have. I bring a strong social justice and community perspective to my work as a therapist. My background includes providing individual therapy to veterans and caregivers, counseling middle and high school students, teaching DBT coping strategies, and working in community organizing and racial justice spaces. These experiences shape the way I think about therapy: I want to understand you as a whole person and recognize that your emotional life is influenced not only by your individual experiences, but also by your family, culture, communities, identities, and the larger systems around you.
